Chi Energy Healing: What Does Christian Scripture Say?

bible.jpg

A Simple Definition of Chi Energy Healing

A very simple definition of acupressure healing is found in the book, New Choices in Natural Healing by Doug Dollemore, Mark Giuliucci, Jennifer Haigh, Sid Kirchheimer and Jean Callahan. The authors state, "With acupressure you use finger or hand pressure instead of needles. But its goal is the same as acupuncture's: to stimulate what Chinese medical practitioners call chi--the body's most basic healing energy" (p. 11). So, acupressure healing is a non-invasive form of chi energy healing.

Emphasis on Chi Energy Flow for Healing

The system of chi energy healing rests on the principle that chi must flow unobstructed through various meridians, or channels of the body for good health. It also must flow at just the right speed and pressure. Otherwise, sickness, disease, and pain occurs. Chi energy healing, which is the goal of acupressure healing, is practiced to restore balance to the flow of chi. Often this flow is referred to as "life force."

The Christian Bible on the Principles of Chi Energy Healing

Is there such a thing as chi energy or "life force" according to biblical scripture? Well, the scriptures do speak of a "life force." But, that life force is clearly identified. We read, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (KJV, Gen. 2:7).

We notice that scripture says that man, as in mankind, became a living soul. The life force is the breath of God. The life force of every man is his breath from God (Gen. 7:22). Could chi energy simply be another term for the breath of God? If so, is then chi energy healing another term for divine healing from God?

Chi Energy Versus the Breath of God

The authors of New Choices in Natural Healing, affirm that, "You can use acupressure to rebalance or unblock the energy that flows through your body, so your body can begin to heal itself" (p. 13). If chi energy is the life force of God, how is it that man can control it through acupressure and acupuncture? This amounts to controlling the life force of God, which scripture established as the breath of God. Consequently, chi energy healing comes under suspicion of not being from God. Anything that puts man in "control" of God is not of God.

Again, the only "life force" of which we learn in the Christian Bible is the breath of God (Gen. 2:7). We also learn that God is the only one who controls his breath, and the breath, or life force, that he allows to flow in and out of man. We read, "...thou (talking to God) takest away their breath, they die..." (Ps. 104:29). We also read, "...God in whose hand thy breath is..." (Dan. 5:23).

The philosophy of chi energy healing is that through the practice of systems such as acupressure, acupuncture, yoga, and Eastern forms of meditation, chi energy flow can be controlled. This means that "life force" can be controlled. However, the "life force" that is the breath of God cannot be controlled. This tells us that chi energy is not the same "life force" as the breath of the Lord. Consequently, chi energy healing is not the same thing as divine healing from God whose people declare, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Ps. 103:3).

In the Bible we see reference to the use of natural medicinal herbs for healing the body. David wrote, "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean..." (Ps. 51:7). Let's remember that God created the body and all of the herbs that are good for health. Therefore, whether he heals through his herbs or through direct divine healing, he is still the one who heals. His breath is the only true "life force." Chi energy is definitely a force; but it is not from the living God. It is unholy and causes spiritual harm. This is why the followers of Christ do not practice chi energy healing.

Comments/Comentarios:

I came across your page by mistake. I read your input on Chi energy and felt directed to help you understand what you are misunderstanding. Most Chi Energy practitioners and teachers are enlightened to understand and comprehend that working with the one and only life force energy which runs through every living thing is what Jesus did.
Jesus worked with Chi to help heal people. The word Chi is just one word used to describe what has many names and no name. Jesus came to teach us to follow him, not worship him as an idol. Knowing what I know about Chi energy and knowing the teachings of Jesus, it's very easy to see, this is what he came to teach and have us follow in his foot steps about , just as his 12 disciples did. All the true teachings of Chi have all the same concepts that Jesus taught and all true Chi teachers know this.
If you are able to open your mind and see ( only those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, which means third eye and selective hearing, but not your comon meaning for selective hearing, its a Chi term- ) you will find what I am saying to be correct. Jesus worked with the soul, the energy system of the body, the chakras and meridians, the third eye, his psychic abilities were in full fusion. The only way you would be able to understand the full meaning of life and Jesus is by doing what he did, working with the soul , which is your energy body, working with Chi, Helping people heal by channeling energy into their energy fields of the weak and the broken i.e. soul to help strengthen and purify their soul. If your mind is closed you will never find the kingdom for the kingdom is within you, although if you do not know yourself and what you truly are then you cannot find the kingdom of G-d. If you wish to state some of Jesus's teachings I would be happy to help you understand them from a soul, ie energy body teacher's knowledge and enlighten mind to help you see the true meaning. You can only understand this from knowing about the soul and energy body, if you are not familiar with how the energy body works and how the universe works, Jesus's teaching will mean something completely different to you. You will have limited understanding of his teachings and as Jesus feared, his people will perish for lack of knowledge .....
G-d Bless and I pray that you are able to see the light, ie, soul and energy body.
Thank you,
Tina

Hi Tina:

Thank you for taking the time to leave comments. Now, please respond to the following questions:

1. The article points out that the life force of the body is the breath of God (Gen. 2:7). Believers in chi energy call the breath of God, the energy system of the body. Yet, they say that the energy system of the body can be controlled. If the energy system of the body is the same thing as the life force, why is it that man cannot control it and stop himself from dying one day?

2. The scriptures say that Jesus healed by the power of God. You say that he healed by chi energy, the energy system of the body. This means that you are saying that the energy of the body and God are the same! What else could that statement equate to but saying that man is God? If it is, that in itself is in serious conflict with the scriptures. While man has the breath of God in him, he is not God.

3. You say that Jesus did not teach us to worship him as an idol, but to follow him. How then do you explain the scriptures that show Jesus being worshiped by his followers? We read, "And, behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, Lord..." (Mat. 8:2). The Lord Jesus did not correct this right behavior. We also read, "While he (Jesus) spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshiped him..." (Mat. 9:18). Again, Christ did not correct this right behavior. Explain why these and other scriptures show worship of Jesus, if we were not taught to worship him?

The purpose of our discussion threads is genuine learning. The imparting of knowledge does not take place if direct questions are not thoroughly answered according to scripture. So, should you choose to respond, that response, in order to be published, must contain answers to the above specific questions WITH scriptural references from the Bible to support your answers.

Thank you for your time.

To Tina:

Your feedback could not be sent through the system because it accepts a maximum of 7,000, which is more than sufficient for each comment. Your feedback contained almost 21,000 characters! Please forgive us if this sounds a bit impolite; that is NOT our intention. However, your extremely wordy feedback contained a background on yourself, which is irrelevant to the discussion.

What we've done is included in this response a summary of the points you made to us by email, and the answers you've given to the questions we posed. Please let us know if we've said that you said anything that you did not. And, to avoid having to paraphrase your words, please keep your responses to under 7,000 characters so your feedback can go through the system, and you're exact words can be printed, not our paraphrase of your words.

You answered that the fact that people worshiped Jesus does not mean that they were right in doing so. You answered that Jesus' "failure" to correct them proves that each person has to find truths for him/herself. You also stated that the man who worshiped Jesus was not seeking truth.

In light of your points/answers, please explain the following:

1. The man in the scripture was seeking Jesus. And, we read that Jesus is the Word of God (St. John 1:1, 14). We also read that the word of God is truth (St. John 17:17). So, Jesus is truth. It is clear in the Scripture that the man was seeking Jesus. Now, if Jesus is truth, how can it be said that the man was not seeking truth?

2. If Jesus does not correct wrong behavior, why then did he forcefully correct the wrong behavior of the money changers (Mat. 21:12-13)? Again, if Jesus does not correct wrong behavior, why did he forcefully correct the wrong behavior of the adults who were trying to stop little children from approaching him (Mat. 19:13-14)?

3. You said that everyone must seek out and find truth for him/herself. If that is true, why does truth (Jesus is truth - see scriptural reference in #1), knock at the door of a person's heart? That is truth offering himself to the individual. We read that the Lord Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Rev. 3:20). Man may search physically and intellectually for the truth. But, real truth (Jesus) knocks at the door of the heart. Some will let him in, others will not.

4. You said that those who truly learn to control their chi will not suffer death. But, the word of God says, "And it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment" (Heb. 9:27). The word of truth declares, "There is NO man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death..." (Eccl. 8:8). You say that chi is just another word for spirit, energy, or life force. There is not one person who has ever controlled the spirit that God gave to him by trying to control an energy called chi. When the Lord takes a man's breath away--he will die, and face his maker. Who has ever proven the truth of Ecclesiastes 8:8 to be a lie? Not one single soul has.

5. You say that worship of Jesus was for the Bible days, not for these modern times. Explain why the scriptures say, "...The word of the Lord endureth FOREVER..." (1 Pet. 1:25)?

Explain all of these things, please. They are simple, straight-forward questions. We are looking for you to provide simple, straight-forward answers.

Ms. Tina, we thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Hello and good evening,

Jesus did not correct his right way of worshiping because it was this persons right way (he was in separation)- this person was looking for the man Jesus, not the spirit being, he was not ready to learn from him- they might have thought they were seeking Jesus, but they were not really seeking Jesus the spirit being and Jesus knew this, he knew they were not ready so he simply did not correct his way of worshiping, he allowed them to do what they could comprehend since they were not ready to understand.
"It is to those who are worthy of my mysteries that I tell my mysteries”
"Seek and you will find. Yet, what you asked me about in former times and which I did not tell you then, now I do desire to tell, but you do not inquire after it."

.John 14:12, KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Says it all.

2. Behavior and ready to understand are two different things especially since the money changes were hurting many people and doing them wrong. The person Idol worshiping was not hurting anyone therefore there was no need to correct him since one must seek the truth for themselves.
The adults were doing wrong by not allowing the little children who could see and feel who Jesus is, a spirit being. He stop the adults because they were hurting the children out of their fear and ignorance from going to what they knew and could see. Both of these examples are different from the idol worshiper who could not see the truth because he was not ready, he was not hurting anyone.

Jesus is love, pure love like the creator, some will allow love in others will not. Love will knock on the door and if you let it in, your heart chakra opens fully. Your heart chakra will remain closed until you fully allow this Devine love to come and anchor in, love is an energy, vibration and frequency. Everything, All that is, is energy, frequency and vibration. Jesus is not the human animal host body- he is pure energy- Love. Which will enter your being once your heart chakra is fully open. Some will be able to open it, others will not. By opening your heart chakra fully you also activate your Merkabah. You will not find love physically or intellectually. There are several painted photos of Jesus pointing to his blazing heart, heart chakra.

"There is NO man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death..." (Eccl. 8:8) means that when the spirit body, chi body, light body, energy body wants to go, it will go. The physical body will not retain it when it wants to go.

The only thing you can take with you from this life time is a developed energy body, nothing else, nothing physical. Energy never dies, the animal host body does.
Learning how to use your Chi and the Chi that is All around us which flows through everything can prolong your physical life as well as help you reach the kingdom. Your energy body will never die. This is why Jesus said: And he said, "Whoever finds the interpretation of these sayings will not experience death." and what he came to teach about.

"Whoever has ears, let him hear. There is light within a man of light, and he lights up the whole world. If he does not shine, he is darkness."- Meaning filled with Chi, until then he dwells in darkness. Chi, energy, light, its all the same.

Jesus said, "If a blind man leads a blind man, they will both fall into a pit."
If you are unaware and lead another unaware - then you both fall into a pit.

Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'See, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."
He is speaking of Energy, All that is.... and the Energy body.... it HAS to be developed in order to find the Kingdom.... no if’s and’s or buts about it.....

5.The word of the Lord endureth FOREVER..." (1 Pet. 1:25)? of course it does, energy never dies. The word is not this language we speak, its energy, frequency and vibration. Energy never dies. What I said was idol worshiping as done back then by people who did not understand or were not ready to learn from the teachings of Jesus, but rather see him as a man to be worshiped instead of learning and being his disciples from his teachings on what He came here to teach us. This is what he wanted, not to be worshiped as an idol- then what would of been his purpose on Earth if not to teach us to follow in his ways?
Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All." meaning All that is, energy

Thank you- Have a blessed day, I truly hoped I have increased your understanding and the understanding of others. I just pray your mind is open to receive this understanding. It is not the scriptures, but ones level of understanding of the scriptures that shows a whole other world....
Many Blessings,
Tina

To Tina:

You say that the man who worshiped Jesus was not ready to understand; therefore, Jesus did not correct him. Provide the scripture that reveals what you say was a heart not ready to learn. If you cannot do that, your statement is without scriptural support. And, that takes us back to the truth that Jesus accepted worship. PROVIDE SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE

You say that idol worship does not harm anyone. But, Psalm 16:4 says, "Their SORROWS shall be multiplied that hasten after another god (idol)..." The multiplication of sorrows is harmful, period. Therefore, your words are in conflict with God's word.

You say that when the spirit body wants to go, the physical body will not retain it. I am an emergency medical technician. When the physical body suffers a certain amount of damage, it CANNOT retain the spiritual body. EXPLAIN how a mortally wounded body would have power to retain the spirit at will?

In our last response, you were given the scripture that said that it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this is the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). EXPLAIN who's in charge of the appointment. If you answer that man is, you are saying that everyone who died wanted to die. That could not be further from the truth. Do you honestly believe that you are in control of when you die?

You mention that there are several painted photos of Jesus pointing to his heart. Are you aware of the Bible's prohibition against making images of living things in Earth or in heaven? (Exodus 20:4) Those photos, paintings and sculptures are in violation of the word of God. Therefore, they have no godly meaning.

Finally, there is a central and vital truth that you are lacking: the truth that Jesus Christ was GOD in flesh. He was both fully man and fully God, being the Son of God. This is why to worship him cannot be idol worship. Simply put, He is NOT an idol. To reject this truth is to reject God Himself. Do you understand that this is said repeatedly in scripture? We have thoroughly dealt with this truth in the following titles:

Who is the Only Begotten Son of God, the First Begotten of the Dead and the Firstborn of Creation?

The Holy Trinity in the Bible: God in Three Persons

Jesus was a direct ray of pure divine love energy from G-d, un blemished- it does not say he was G-d, he was a part of G-d and G-d was part of him, again, this is a level of understanding. The scripture words are correct, its the level of understanding which they are interpreted based on the level of understanding of the soul reading it. If your energy body is developed you will understand, but if it is not, and your chi is depleted you have a very limited understanding. The scriptures I have found to be actual teachings of Jesus are the 114 sayings of Thomas, in which I have explained several to you in one of my previous messages. Are you able to explain those teachings to me in a different way? All the other stuff is just stories of what happened, very little actual teachings. We are on two very different levels of understanding. I have asked you twice, what was Jesus purpose on Earth, if not to teach and have others follow? You cannot answer that, not without admitting I am correct, not without admitting you have been wrong all these years. I comprehend the Bible from my spirit mind, not my animal host body mind, therefore my view is from the spiritual view not from the physical view in which you are translating the Bible. How do you know that person had a heart ready to learn? Only Jesus knew/knows that.... And Jesus aknowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? It is to those who are worthy of my mysteries that I tell my mysteries” therefore you do not know what was in that persons heart.(Mat. 9;18) does not speak of anything other than stories of what took place, it does not speak of what to do or what is expected to do. Nor does it speak of anyone being ready to be a disciple and Jesus turning him down. Idol worshiping does no harm to anyone else. The two examples you gave with the money changers and the adults is VERY different than a soul who is just not ready. A soul who is not ready, is not hurting anyone else, each soul must learn for themselves. You have your own soul lessons to learn, we all do, therefore Jesus knowing there thoughts knew that the people who just worship without working on their energy bodies, which does absolutely nothing to help your soul would come to pass as they became wiser. It is there sorrows that will multiply until they learn or ask, means, until they learn and understand they will suffer, which goes back again for everyone needing to find the truth themselves. 16:4 is simply stating, you will suffer until you understand, that does not mean Jesus is going to correct that person. Nowhere EVER have I read anything that says: Jesus said, bow down and worship me. On the contrary, I have given you several examples of him wanting to have others learn from him and be him. Just because the Bible says it took place, does not mean it was correct. Ok, but those paintings are not of anything in heaven, earth or below- the paintings are representing , like symbolism- it is not a painting of Jesus the spirit being, therefore it is not of anything in heaven, earth or below.

To Tina:

You state that we did not answer the question of what Jesus' purpose on Earth was. You want to limit his purpose to teaching. St. John 1:29 says, "...The Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." He is more than a teacher. He is the Savior whose blood washes away the sins of every person who will receive him as Lord and Savior. WHY do you limit his purpose to teaching, while mentioning nothing of the reason why he died on Calvary?

You did not provide scripture that says anything about the man who came to worship Jesus not being ready to learn. Furthermore, Scripture shows Jesus teaching people who clearly were NOT ready to learn truth. Have you not read verses 36 thru 59 of St. John, which clearly shows Jesus trying to teach people who are arguing against him, and who even became so angry at him that they attempted to stone him? They were NOT ready to learn, but in the day of judgment, they will not be able to say that they were not offered teaching. We pointed out to you that Jesus is the Word of God. And, the scriptures say, "ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for CORRECTION..." (2 Tim. 3:16). The scripture does NOT say "Correction--only for those people ready to learn." The Bible warns against adding to and taking away from the Word.

You say that a person can control his energy to prolong his life. The Bible says of and to God, "...Thou takest away their breath, they die, and RETURN to their dust" (Psalm 104:29). So, when God, who gave breath, is ready to take away breath, a person will be able to defy the Lord, and prolong his breath through the control of some chi energy? No, Tina. Neither you nor anyone else will control, stop, or even prolong the breath that is in you. It is completely and entirely under the control of your maker. You want to add a reincarnation meaning into the word "once to die." Again, that is adding into the Word. What does Scripture say? It says that after death, you return to the dust. It does not say that you return to another life. In fact, king David, when his son died, said that the boy CANNOT return in any way, shape, or form to this life. Reincarnation is a falsehood from New Age doctrine, which denies the living God, Jesus Christ.

You say that the paintings were not images of anything in heaven, but only representations. The scripture in Exodus that we gave you, as well as that of Acts 17:29 tell us that we are not to make the likeness or the similitude of things in heaven or earth. Those paintings are the likeness and the similitude of what looks like a man, an image to which someone attached a label of "Jesus."

You speak of not knowing of any scripture that says that Jesus is God. Did we not provide links to the content we have that will give you ample scripture that teaches that Jesus is God? Yes, we did. Again, this is the whole center and focus of the trouble with New Age thought--denial of the divinity of Jesus.

The evidence that you do not understand the words of Jesus is revealed in the fact that you deny that he is God. You even deny that he ever said that he was God. Do you realize that the reason why the Jews demanded that he be put to death was because Christ revealed that he was God? (St. John 5:18) This was blasphemy for a mere man to make himself equal with God. So, if they did not understand any of the rest of the teachings of the Lord Jesus, they at least understood that he taught that he was God. You have not even reached the understanding that they had. When the Lord says that his followers will do the works that he does, He did not say that his followers become gods. Scripture plainly says that it is the power of God who works through his followers. However, that is very different from it just being the power of God that worked through Jesus. The shed blood of Jesus is what cleansed all of his followers, not one of his followers can ever say that we saved Christ from anything.

You write a lot of words, and philosophy. But, what matters is the foundation on which your words rest:

1. Rejection of the truth that Jesus is God
2. Rejection that man is born a sinner and needs forgiveness and cleansing from sin through faith in Christ, who died on Calvary that we might be saved.

You did not provide anything that says he was ready to learn. I provided evidence of Jesus way of thinking.

If you have not seen the light, then you cannot say what is a painting of what . Those paintings are not similar in anyway.

I'm sorry that you do not understand the true meaning of the Bible, just as Jesus said, and I will say to you, you cannot say that you did not recieve any teaching.

I did not take or add to the word, I "see". My level of understanding is far different than yours because I am a Chi Master. I help people heal themselves but only those who can be healed because of their faith as Jesus said.

Never once did Jesus say " I healed you" he always said, you are healed because of your faith. What Jesus did was channel Chi energy, which is the power of GOD, All that is into the person to give them greater strength and they healed themselves. This is what he came to teach all those who have eyes to see, the power within themselves. The kingdom is within you,

It was only the people recording events that said "Jesus healed them" because they did not know any better. They could not comprehend at the time. Jesus never said " I healed you".

It's like a kindergartner learning physics. They won't understand with the limitations they have at that age. They need to start with 1 plus 1 and words like cat and hat, and so on. Although as they get older and wiser they can comprehend and learn physics. If you stop learning at cat and hat there is no way you will be able to understand any further.

If you do not have the level of understanding needed you just cannot understand.

The funny thing is, in all my travels and with all the diversity which has been placed in my path, all beliefs systems know and believe in this energy in one shape or another. What baffles me the most is the ones who claim too love Jesus the most are the ones who are the most clueless. A true Christian would be channeling GODS energy into other people like Jesus did and wanted.
You cannot truly be a follower of Christ if you do not understand this.

The foundation has always been in my responses, you are just not able to "see".....

I'm sorry my friend, but you will not be able to say you were not given teachings.

Many blessings,
Tina

To Tina:

You are completely silent on the truth that Jesus is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world (see very first paragraph of our last response to you ' scripture included).

You say that we did not provide evidence that the man was ready to learn. We gave you scriptural evidence that lets us know that it does NOT matter whether he was ready to learn. You stated that Jesus does not correct or teach when people are not ready to learn. Yet, you are completely silent on the truth that he tried to teach people who were NOT ready to learn (see second paragraph of our last response to you-scripture included).

You spoke of reincarnation, but remain completely silent on the truth that man returns to the dust, NOT to another life (see third paragraph of our last response to you-scripture included).

You are completely silent on the truth that we are not to make images and the likeness of things in heaven or earth, and then attack a spiritual meaning to them (see fourth paragraph of our last response to you-scripture included).

You are completely silent on the truth that Jesus is God (see 5th, 6th, 7th paragraphs of our last response to you). We even made it easy for you to read the scriptures that prove that Jesus is Lord by providing you with the links that show you those scriptures--scriptures that you say do not even exist.

To Tina:

Because the system allows each article a maximum of ten comments, and you submitted the tenth, we've had to reprint your statements in this response to you to make it the tenth.

YOU WROTE: You can accept anything all you want, but if you do nothing to help yourself- you do nothing. It does matter if someone is ready or not. I provided three times the scripture of Jesus saying "I show my mysteries only to those who are worthy".

OUR RESPONSE: You still have not answered why Jesus tried to teach people who were NOT ready to learn in St. John verses 36 thru 59. You were asked SPECIFICALLY about THIS scriptural passage on which you have remained silent.
==========
YOU WROTE: There is absolutely reincarnation, we keep coming back again and again until we learn our lessons and can return to G-d with pure energy like Jesus. Our energy will just take on a different form-

OUR RESPONSE: Ecclesiastes 12:7 says, "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the SPIRIT shall RETURN UNTO GOD who gave it." Tina, you cannot find even one scripture in the Bible that says that the physical body will take on another form and live new lives. You cannot find one scripture in the Bible to support the belief that some energy is going to re-inhabit the physical body. God's word says that when you die, your spirit is going to return to him--not to another life.
===========
YOU WROTE: You have the cross, is that not an image? The pope has Christ on the cross on one of his staff's - is that not an image.... according to your way of thinking?

OUR RESPONSE: First, do NOT compare us with the Pope. We are NOT Catholic. Learn the difference between Catholicism and Protestantism before attempting to base your responses on things you do not understand. Catholics believe in making and worshiping images, we don't!
===========
YOU WROTE: "holy Fire" speaks about Kundalini - which is part of the energy body. Moses also speaks about Kundalini in this scripture: Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,- that is Kundalini, the coiled serpent at the base of the spine,

OUR RESPONSE: How little you know about the Bible. The brazen serpent was a symbol of SIN. Do you know the scriptures that say this? That reminds us that you remain completely silent on the purpose of Jesus: TO TAKE AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD, just as you remain silent on the truth of his divinity.
============
YOU WROTE: Every Chi Master follows Jesus- we know this is what he did and came to teach us.... this energy is All that is...

OUR RESPONSE: The Lord Jesus of Nazareth, Savior of the world, does not match the description of your Jesus. According to your words, your Jesus requires you to clean your energy. He tells you to believe in reincarnation, chi energies, etc. The Jesus we serve is God the Son. His word reveals reincarnation as a falsehood. We are told that His shed blood is what cleanses us from UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, not "impure energy" (clever play with words).

This, however, does not surprise us. We have already read, "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, it it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Mat. 24:24).

The system will close the comment thread on this article with the publication of this response. But we still would like to ask: Tina, do you realize the seriousness of your rejection of the divinity of the Son of God? Do you realize that to deny that Jesus was God in the flesh is the working of the SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST? The scriptures warn that, "Every spirit that confesseth NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is NOT of God. And, this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world" (1 John 4:3). Of course all mortals come in the flesh. Why do you think that the scripture stress that JESUS came in the flesh? That is because the scriptures make it plain that God came in the flesh. Again, the Jews understood this basic truth. And, they admit that they understood, because they used it as an excuse to call for the crucifixion of Jesus. This is the central message of the gospel--a message that you reject.

You say that we must do more than just believe. We must do something. Yes, we must do something, Jesus preached: ...REPENT ye AND believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). That is what we are supposed to do. The gospel is that He is God who came to earth in the flesh to take away the sins of every person who will obey him. This was his purpose for dying on the cross at Calvary. May you open your spiritual eyes to truth before you close them permanently in death after which there is no repentance, reincarnation, or second chances.
