Volunteer Translators Needed for Christian Ministry
Heavenly Manna ministries is looking for volunteer translators to translate Christian articles and short Bible studies on topics rarely dealt with from a biblical perspective. Most of the content to be translated is 400 - 800 word articles; and we ask volunteers for two hours of their time per month. An experienced translator can translate an article in less than, or within two hours, which equals about one translation per month.
Target and Source Languages
Currently, most of our content is in United States English. However, we have a sizeable and growing database of articles and study materials in Latin American Spanish. We also publish in French, German, and Italian. Volunteer translators must speak, read, write and understand college-level English, Spanish or German, which are the languages of communication within Heavenly Manna.
Our material in English, Spanish and French was either originally written in those languages or translated by an experienced translator into or from the language. Most of our content that has been translated into Italian is a machine translation. Therefore, the majority of our Italian articles contains some minor errors. These translations, though not perfect, certainly are accurate enough to be read and fully understood by native speakers of the Italian language. Our passion is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus as far and as wide as possible. This is why we decided to go ahead with the machine translations for Italian.
This does not mean, however, that we don't want the same perfection for our content in Italian as we have for our content in the other languages. This is why we are in need of dedicated, skilled, and experienced volunteer translators not only for Italian, but for all of the languages our team speaks and / or reads.
Following is a list of the language pairs/combinations for which we are looking:
1. English > Spanish
2. English or Spanish > French
3. English or Spanish > German
4. English or Spanish > Italian
Volunteer translators with Heavenly Manna receive full credit for their work, because we display the name of the translator at the end of his or her work. Also, we will be happy to serve as a professional reference after the completion of at least three acceptable translations. Translations are reviewed for accuracy by at least one translator of Heavenly Manna.
Our most urgent need at the moment is for volunteer translators to translate from English or Spanish into Italian, German, or French.

Thank you for your feedback. We CANNOT afford the great expense that it is to send books free of charge. That is extremely expensive, especially when we receive multiple requests to do so. We have published almost 1,000 articles and Bible studies and made them freely available at our website for all of the world. Our website is the ONLY free source of Christian material we offer. We are a small ministry made up entirely of volunteers, NOT paid employees. So, we cannot be expected to send funds. You might want to contact In Jesus' Name Ministries for that.
