Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Keeping in mind the title of this content--Is The Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate Of God? Or Could It Be Evil?--we're going to look at what the governor of New York said, which is very disturbing to any true Christian who knows even the basics of the Bible. Why is that? The problem is that the governor tries to back her stance in favor of the mandate by bringing God into it...into a mandate that says health care workers who refuse to be "vaccinated" are to be fired. She justifies her stance by saying, "God answered our prayers. He caused the most brilliant men and women--scientists, doctors, researchers--to develop a vaccine. That's from God for us, and we should say, 'Thank you, God. Thank you.'"
It's very suspicious that the governor wants to bring God into the Covid-19 vaccine mandate, but NOT into the arrival of the pandemic itself. Let's not forget that pandemics are among the four judgments of God, which only come because of sin and rebellion against God's law. We read, "For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?" (Ezekiel 14:21). "Sword" symbolizes war, and "pestilence" means "plague". The vast majority of the world's rulers approve laws that are contrary to God's laws. Many, such as homosexuality and abortion, are abominations in the Lord's eyes.
Nevertheless, the pandemic--according to them--is not of God. But the so-called vaccines are? We don't think so. Whenever the God of the Bible heals, He never harms. It's proven that the so-called Covid-19 vaccines do cause harm. They have caused strokes, blood clots, inflammation of the pericardium among other problems in people of all ages. The God of the Bible does not operate like that. In light of these truths, how can we possibly say the Covid-19 mandate is of the God of Israel...the God of the Christian Bible...the God who tells us to work for a living, and to be able to help the needy? (Ephesians 4:28). But they want to take people's jobs away.
What's more is the "vaccines" do not meet the definition of "vaccine"...a substance that should stimulate the formation of antibodies to attain immunity against an infectious disease. We are plainly told that the "vaccine" does not prevent infection. Why then are they calling it a vaccine? Everyone should have the right to refuse the "vaccine". Is that personal opinion? No, it is not. In fact, when we know we run the risk of getting sick, the Lord Himself gives us the right to say no. Let's see this truth in the Bible.
We read, "...the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank... But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank." (Daniel 1:5,8).
The king was the highest authority. And that authority mandated that Daniel and the other Hebrews with him eat and drink certain foods...the king's diet. We're talking about a king's mandate. This is an ancient equivalent of the modern Covid-19 mandate. Forcing someone to ingest, inhale or inject something against his or her will. This is NOT of the God of the Christian Bible, but rather it is of the god of this world who is Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4). If you read the first chapter of Daniel (Old Testament), you'll see that God was with Daniel and the others who refused to put something into their bodies, which by the way, is the temple of God.
In those times, disobedience to the king meant much more than the loss of your job. It meant death. Just as the king wanted to control what people put into their bodies, the governor wants to control what we put in ours...the temple of God. No. Daniel obeyed the king in everything until it came to his body...the temple of God. That's where he drew the line. That's when he said, "they don't dictate that to me."
It's high time we examine our faith in God...our trust in Him to supply all our needs, because the day is coming when we will be prohibited from buying and selling if we haven't taken the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-17). Now is the time to take on strength in the Lord, because very evil days are approaching when rulers will order us to pledge allegiance to the god of this world (Satan) whom they call God. And if we refuse, we will be killed. Will we fear them more than God? There's a reason why the Bible says, "But the fearful...shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone"(Revelation 21:8).
We can't help being afraid, but we do well to pay close attention to the words of Jesus who warned, "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear. Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." (Luke 12:5).
Based on true events, The Third Man by Angela Sheffield, brings the Bible up close and personal as the characters face real issues of life: Betrayal, deceit, romance, bitterness, anger against God, hopelessness, will power, perplexity, triumph, unforgiveness, mental illness, and the "Alcohol made me do it" excuse.
