The Best Clean African American Romance Novels
Avid readers of clean African American romance novels might have a hard time finding the books that are delightful entertainment. And if they have a preference for African American romance with a Christian "twist", they will have to look harder. So, what are some titles we recommend? Who are the authors? And are those authors African American? Yes they are. The authors are African American, and their stories depict what have been--and continue to be--real experiences for many African Americans. The stories are absolutely authentic, because they deal with real life...the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Third Man by Angela Sheffield: An Encouraging African American Romance Novel
This unique and brilliantly told story of African American romance includes it all. Helen, the protagonist, ponders a disturbing question many never vocalize for fear of what others might think...and because they might not like the answer. What is that question? After so many unexplained troubles--particularly in her love life--Helen asks herself: Could there be a curse on my love life? She then wonders if there's a curse on her life period. If so, what can she do about it? Will she ever be happy? One question leads to another as she continues to strive to believe God...to believe in His power and goodness.
