A Christian Pregnant and Scared Hotline
A Different Kind of "Hotline"
If you are pregnant or think that you are pregnant, and are scared, a pregnant and scared hotline might sound like a source of hope. A hotline is usually thought of as a toll free telephone number to call to reach a live person with whom you may talk. Hotlines are wonderful services and have helped many people. A pregnant and scared hotline would be a number to call to speak to someone who will listen, care, and offer some hope and even referrals to organizations and ministries that can help you.
Heavenly Manna does not currently offer a traditional pregnant and scared hotline. However, we are dedicated to listening to people in trouble--IF they truly want help and are not hostile to the gospel of Jesus. We have an experienced youth worker and certified Christian life coach on board who has been pregnant and scared. There was no such thing as a pregnant and scared hotline when she was found in such a situation. But, she called on and trusted in a spiritual pregnant and scared hotline--the Lord Jesus, and he answered and rescued her.
I Think I'm pregnant and I'm Scared
Our youth worker has experienced being a battered wife, poverty, homelessness, and hopelessness. Today, she enjoys a genuine relationship with Christ. She volunteers with Heavenly Manna, holds a college diploma, Christian life coach certification, and is a published author. She has a God-given ministry of sharing the many challenging life experiences through which God brought her in victory. Some of those experiences were life-threatening.
Although Heavenly Manna, at present, cannot set up a traditional pregnant and scared hotline, we offer a conversation thread. At the end of this article, you may ask questions, and just talk to us. Use a fictitious name if you prefer, but please indicate that you are using a fictitious name. Often, just being able to talk to someone who will listen, pray, and even make referrals to services offering real help can make all of the difference.
Keep in mind, however, that this pregnant and scared "hotline" is real conversation centered around what the word of God says about your situation. When questions are asked, expect to answer them thoroughly or expect communication to stop. If you do not want to hear the truth of God's word, save yourself time by not writing in. If you want genuine, Christ-centered attention, use our comments/question feature as an online pregnant and scared hotline. Conversation is in a public thread because there are many who can say, "I'm pregnant and scared." There are many who can say, "I'm homeless and pregnant." Often they can benefit from the responses provided to others in similar situations.
