Cloves for Breathing Problems
Don't Take Breathing Problems Lightly
All types of respiratory distress are a cause for concern because of a possible threat to the airway; they should never be taken lightly. Seek medical attention. However, millions of people, including the author of this article, have successfully recovered not only from bronchitis, but also from pneumonia using nothing but powerful herbal medicines in conjunction with a temporary drastic change in diet. The doctors of ancient times prescribed many of the same all natural medicines and remedies for serious breathing problems that are still around today and used by people who can't run to a doctor every time they have a health problem. One of those medicines is the culinary herb, cloves.
How to Use Cloves for Breathing Problems
Cloves are available in two "forms," whole and ground. It's always best to buy whole and, preferably, organically grown herbs and foods. Whole cloves, like the whole form of any other herb or food, is the freshest form that retains the nutritional and medicinal value of the product much longer than the ground form. The whole form can be ground using a coffee grinder in which case it's best to grind only the amount needed at a given time. However, using the already ground form will also bring relief, if it's fresh.
The very effective use of ground cloves for alleviating breathing problems was actually discovered through using the culinary herb to relieve toothache. Approximately one half teaspoon of already ground or freshly ground cloves is placed next to any teeth and held in place by the cheek resting against those teeth. It should not be wrapped in anything, so there's no hindrance to ingesting the cloves over a period of hours during which periodic swallowing is what causes the herb to be ingested. It is somewhat like holding a lozenge between teeth and cheek instead of free in the mouth. Don't hold ground cloves free in the mouth because it invites the threat of choking. As natural swallowing continues, the throat is soothed, nasal passages are opened, chest congestion is relieved, and germs are killed in the mouth as the herb has natural parasite killing properties.
Even the already ground form, which is milder than the freshly ground herb can sting and burn at first. Some people might find it helpful to hold whole cloves in the mouth until they can chew them over a period of several hours, after which the whole form of the herb can be discarded. The ground form, however, should be swallowed.
The Good "Side Effects" of Using Cloves
Use of this wonderful culinary herb as a natural treatment for breathing problems has the added benefit of good side effects. Cloves are known to help improve digestion, increase circulation, and relieve nausea and vomiting. Another advantage to the use of this herb for breathing problems is the convenience of being able to purchase it economically in almost any grocery store.
Christian Food for Thought:
God is the creator of the many wonderful medicinal plants and foods that prevent, treat, and cure so many ailments. To reject God's solutions is to reject
spiritual, physical, and
mental health.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in HEALTH even as thy
soul prospereth" (KJV Christian Bible, 3 John 2).
