Immunotherapy for Cancer: What Happened to the Need for Prevention?
Genetic Engineering: The Answer for Cancer Patients?
New research in medical technology involves the genetic engineering of the cells of cancer patients. Cells are taken from the patient, genetically modified into cells "programmed" to kill cancer cells, and then returned to the patient to begin their "good" destructive work. This is new immunotherapy for cancer that has been used on a few cancer patients, among which was a sufferer of leukemia who is now said to be in remission. Much more study is needed before declaring its safety and effectiveness against other types of cancer.
From Hazard to Cure?
There are many documented cases of the health and environmental hazards caused by genetically altering God's plant and animal life. How much damage will be done because of the practice genetic engineering before there is the realization of just how dangerous it is to attempt to play God? How long will it be before it's realized that no drug or immunotherapy for cancer will allow man to live cancer free as long as he continues to abuse his health and pollute his environment?
The number of cancer patients continues to rise because people still smoke, use pesticides, herbicides, lethal home fix-up and cleaning products, chemical fertilizers, toxic personal care products, etc. The majority of people continue to develop cancer because they continue to eat foods that have been genetically modified, artificially preserved, colored, and flavored.
Neither immunotherapy for cancer nor anything else of man's own wisdom will protect and restore good health. A person must follow an all natural diet, exercise, and avoid deadly pollutants and contaminants such as cigarette smoke. There are no short cuts to good health. Has it not been said for years that you are what you eat. If you eat junk, your health will be junk. There is no drug that will allow man to eat anything he wants and avoid reaping the consequences. The Lord made an array of herbs and foods that are natural "immunotherapy" for cancer without deadly side effects. To willfully reject God's foods and medicines is to invite sickness, disease, cancer, and premature death, which in many cases, could have been avoided.
