Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world
The Christian Bible says, "It is appointed unto men ONCE to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).
The Scriptures can't be any clearer in saying that the concept of karma and reincarnation is a great lie...one that does harm, and that does not in any way reflect the righteousness of God. According to believers in karma and reincarnation, someone with bad karma is destined to suffer and to be reborn as many times as necessary to come to have good karma, which grants him the privilege of enjoying a good life. After that good life, he goes to be united with Brahma. That amounts to saying that if you suffer, and if bad things happen to you, it's because you have bad karma from having lead a bad former life. In other words, it's your fault that you're suffering. How awful. Believing in karma and reincarnation causes us to blame innocent people. Granted, many people do suffer, because they brought suffering upon themselves. But we know well that that's not always the case. Some people have been abused since birth. Consequently, they don't think things through, and they have complexes. People like that must clamor to God for Him to deliver, save and heal them. But, they are not responsible for having been born into awful situations. To unjustly blame them like that is not of God...at least not of the God of Israel. Such blame comes from the god of the great lie that the doctrine of karma and reincarnation is.
Let's look at a passage in the Christian Bible that is among many that unmask the great lie. We read, "There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted, and thou art tormented." (St. Luke 16:19-25)
Many Christians mistakenly teach that the story of Lazarus and the rich man is a parable. But it is not a parable. It is a true story. Jesus does not call it a parable, because it isn't one. So, are we saying Lazarus had a hard life, because he had bad karma? If it was a question of having bad karma, why did Lazarus receive consolation in the hereafter? And why is nothing said to him about being reborn in order to fix his bad karma? And if the rich man had good karma, why does he have to suffer horribly in that place of torment in the hereafter? Because the concept of karma and reincarnation is a great lie from the father of lies.
"The devil...abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. He is a liar and the father of lies" (St. John 8:44).
Don't allow yourself to be fooled by the great lie. There are no such things as karma and reincarnation.
Based on true events, The Third Man by Angela Sheffield, brings the Bible up close and personal as the characters face real issues of life: Betrayal, deceit, romance, bitterness, anger against God, hopelessness, will power, perplexity, triumph, unforgiveness, mental illness, and the "Alcohol made me do it" excuse.
