Biblical Light on Messages from Angels
Messages from Angels According to Doreen Virtue
Ms. Doreen Virtue in her books on angel therapy, angel healing, and angel wisdom, states, "When I first channeled the angelic realm, I couldn't withstand the high frequency for long periods of time." The angelic messages vibrate at such a high frequency that you might find it difficult to digest more than a few pages at a setting." Many people, including Christian believers, have taken an interest in learning how to receive messages from angels for angel healing and to gain angel wisdom. What could be wrong with this? Firstly, many of the people who are accepting teachings such as these have not obeyed the scripture of I Thessalonians 5:21, which warns the believer to, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." The same scripture taken from the Living Bible Paraphrased reads, "But test everything that is said to be sure it is true, and if it is, then accept it."
The Christian Bible on Messages from Angels
The Christian Bible is very plain and clear on the characteristics and behavior of the holy angels of God. We read of when the angel named Gabriel spoke God's messages to Zacharias (Luke 1:12-20) and also to Mary the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:26-28). We read of the archangel Michael (Jude 9) and of the actions of other angels of God. One thing that people should never forget, particularly the Christian believer, is that just as there are holy angels in service to God, there also are evil angels in service to Satan. We know this when we read scriptures such as:
And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (Satan) and the dragon fought and his angels (Revelation 12:7).
One of the questions the Christian believer can ask him or herself is, "Are any of the messages from angels of God, according to biblical scripture, ever delivered with vibrations or at high frequencies that make it difficult for man to understand?" There is absolutely no reference to such an occurrence in God's word. Why would messages from angels of God be difficult to understand when not one person to whom they were sent in scripture ever had trouble understanding them? Neither Zacharias nor Mary the mother of Jesus had any trouble understanding Gabriel when he delivered his messages from God. Scripture paints a clear picture of these people clearly understanding what was being said to them.
We even see that whenever God himself spoke to people, there's no mention of difficulty understanding his words or of there being vibrations or high frequencies involved. God spoke to Moses out of the burning bush (Exodus 3:2-22) and Moses had no trouble conversing with God. The little child, Samuel, had no trouble understanding when the Lord spoke to him (I Samuel 3:4-10). The angel of the Lord (the Lord himself) spoke plainly to the women who sought Jesus after he had been crucified and the time had come for his resurrection from the dead. They were stricken with great fear in his presence; however, they had no trouble understanding what he said to them. We know they understood because they immediately followed directions they had been given (Matthew 28:8).
Messages from angels of God should not be accompanied by strange things like vibrations, high frequencies or strange odors as is so often reported by those who have had encounters with what they believe to be angels of heaven. God's word does not say to seek angel healing or angel wisdom; it says to seek God himself. "...He that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM" (Hebrews 11:6).
