Could Christians Be Mistaken About Jesus Being the Jewish Messiah? Where Is The Peaceable Kingdom?

A Jewish person, as well as someone of a different faith, could argue against Jesus being the Jewish Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament of the Bible, because "He has not fulfilled every single one of the messianic prophecies. Fulfilling some--even the majority of them--is not enough to be called the Messiah." Let's take a brief look at only three unfulfilled requirements / prophecies in order to clear up the confusion.
If Jesus Is The Jewish Messiah, Where Is The Peaceable Kingdom Of Which The Prophets Spoke?
We read: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb. And the leopard shall lie down with the kid. And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together. And a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed. Their young ones shall lie down together. And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp. And the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." (Isaiah 11:6-9).
We also read, "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. Neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4).
Needless to say that the peaceable kingdom the Messiah is supposed to set up here on earth is not here...yet. According to Christians, this isn't a legitimate reason to reject Jesus as the Jewish Messiah. Christians teach that Christ will set up His peaceable kingdom when He returns to earth. We know this teaching is in the New Testament, but where it is in the Old Testament?
First, until we see the death and resurrection of the Messiah in the Old Testament, we'll never be able to link the prophesied peaceable kingdom to Jesus of Nazareth.
The passage of Daniel 9:26 says, "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off..." It's very clear that the Messiah is killed. What's more is that we learn that he dies without children. We read, "He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living... Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him. He hath put him to grief when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin... (Isaiah 53:8,10).
It's obvious that the childless Messiah is killed. Now then, had He already set up His peaceable kingdom, he wouldn't have been killed. Didn't we just read that no harm will be done in the peaceable kingdom? Killing someone is doing harm. But they killed the Messiah. They greatly harmed Him, something which wouldn't have happened in the peaceable kingdom. This tells us that the Jewish Messiah dies BEFORE He sets up His peaceable kingdom. It's not that Jesus didn't fulfill the prophesied peaceable kingdom. What we must understand is that He had to die for the world's sins first. We just read "when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin" (verse 10). In the Old Testament, only animals were sacrificed to atone for sin, not people. But here we see that a person...a man is being offered to atone for sin. That tells us there's something very special about this individual. No one else is like Him. His blood atones for sin!
The Resurrection Of The Messiah Was Also Prophesied, No Doubt About It
One of the Old Testament passages that lets us know the Jewish Messiah rose from the dead is Zachariah 12:10 which says, "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications. And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son..."
Notice that the Lord is the One speaking here. The first verse of the chapter lets us know that. And the Lord talks about His power to do the things He's going to do. Now then, He also says He was "pierced". That means He was killed. That also lets us know the Lord had a body...hence God incarnate. But, if He was killed, how is it that they're looking at him? How is it that He's talking about things He'll do AFTER he's been killed? Answer: He rose from the dead. He's alive. The resurrected King indeed is able to set up His peaceable kingdom. Remember all of this that we're reading is in the Old Testament. These things also agree with what the New Testament reveals about Jesus as the Messiah. Where's the contradiction?
But Isn't Worshiping Jesus As Messiah Idolatry?
We read: "Hear, O Israel the Lord our God is one Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:4).
When reading the Old Testament, did we by chance miss the plurality of God? It's right there in the Torah. We read: "And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness..." (Genesis 1:26).
And when the Lord appeared to Abram (Abraham) in the plains of Mamre, He took the form of THREE men (Genesis 18:1-2). God in THREE persons is a truth seen throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. If you sincerely want truth, the Lord will open your eyes to see His Salvation...His Son Jesus, the Jewish Messiah and Savior of all who will live in obedience to Him.
