Kundalini Awakening: Oneness with God?
Before answering the question of whether an experience of kundalini awakening is oneness with the God behind the Holy Bible or oneness with unholy spirits, we must consider what kundalini is. New Agers and practitioners of yoga explain that it is a divine feminine energy, also kown as shakti, which lies dormant in all of us. It's taught that kundalini purifies the person in whom it is awakened. If it is true that it purifies, it would be a good thing that lies dormant in us all. Now consider what the Bible says about what is in every person.
The holy scriptures repeatedly teach us that there is an “invisible force” with which everyone is born. That force is sin. It's a nature that is present in everyone who has ever lived, with the exception of one man--Christ. We read, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). Who is the one man through whom sin entered the world, and passed to all of us? Adam (see Romans, chapter five). Everyone is a descendant of Adam, and our proof is that everyone dies. Sin, which always produces death, is the only thing the Bible says everyone is born with. Could kundalini or shakti be sin? Impossible. Remember that kundalini awakening is said to purify you. If it purifies you, it would be a good thing. But the apostle Paul--a descendant of Adam, like all of us--lets us know in no uncertain terms that sin is not a good thing. He said, “I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth NO good thing” (Romans 7:18).
If kundalini is good, why did Paul say no good thing dwelled in his flesh? Because sin dwelled in his flesh. And God's Word makes it very clear that sin is ugly. It's an enemy. It always brings spiritual death...and later, physical death. That's why everyone has to die. Why? Because everyone has sinned. Why? Because everyone was born with a sin nature, which is the only thing God's Word says is in all of us. Sin does not purify. It defiles.
How can a Bible-believing “Christian” believe that kundalini is a good thing when the Bible says sin is what's in us? And it is not a good thing. We just read this in Scripture. If you truly believe the Bible, you don't believe anything that contradicts the Bible. How can a Christian believe that a kundalini awakening purifies us so forcefully that, after the experience, we are literally and physically unable to sin? Not even the Holy Spirit of God uses force to stop us from sinning. God does not want robots. He wants willing servants who must willingly and actively fight and battle to break free of sin. God will help us, but only if we do our part. Consider the scriptures that clearly put responsibility on us:
“Ye have not resisted unto blood, striving against sin” Hebrews 12:4.
“If thy right hand offend thee (cause you to sin), cut it off and cast it from thee...” Matthew 5:30.
Paul said, “I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection...” 1 Corinthians 9:27.
We are the ones to resist sin unto blood. We “cut” our own right hand off if it causes us to sin. We bring ourselves into subjection to God. We don't expect some invisible force to do that for us. In fact, if during kundalini awakening, a force took control of your body, question the source of that force! That is not how the God of the Christian Bible operates. Do not attribute something like a force stopping bad word from coming out of your mouth to the work of God. Remember, the Bible warns, “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). Don't be deceived by what appears to be good. Learn God's Word, so you'll know how to discern what is of Him and what is not.
Praising God after Kundalini Awakening
“I began praising God after my experience of kundalni awakening.” Read your Bible to know that Satan is a god. Second Corinthians 4:4 says he's the god of this world who blinds people to the glorious gospel of the true Christ. And does that diabolical god of the world want to be praised and worshiped? Absolutely! If he tried to get Christ to worship him, why wouldn't he also try to deceive us into worshiping him? We read, “The devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them. And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me” (Matthew 4:8-9).
Now keep in mind that Satan can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Also keep in mind that the Lord Jesus warned us that, “there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24).
Will kundalini awakening bring you into oneness with God? Not with the God of Israel, but rather with the god of this world--Satan. The mental and physical manifestations of kundalini awakening resemble those of demonic possession as seen in cases in the Bible and in cases today of people who are now in padded cells of mental health hospitals.

I'm not sure where to send a private message so I will leave this here. I read your article about kundalini awakening and have a question. I had what I now believe to be a SPONTANEOUS kundalini awakening a few months ago. I didn't know what it was until I researched it. I have never believed or dabbled in new age, yoga, hinduism, etc; and don't believe in those. I was a sinful lost sheep before that experience. During the experience, which lasted a few hours, I was unable to sin. I could not put an unpure thought in my mind or utter a curse word. I tried just to test it and I would just blow out air and my lips would not close in order for me to speak. Something was holding my mouth open. This experience led me back to Jesus and church. I thought it was the Holy Spirit that did this, and still think it was except the feeling was identical to this evil kundalini awakening. My pastor says that no way it was evil if it led me to accept Christ into my hear and repent, and go to church. I was a different person immediately after the experience. My Pastor says to always let the word guide me. So I am here because you seem to have knowledge of this and scripture to back up what you say. I want to know what it was that caused kundalini type event in me, yet caused me to immediately praise God and Jesus, repent, and subsequently have temporary inability to sin.
