The Flowers First
We begin our list with the names of flowers in Spanish and English. We then will proceed to the names of trees, including fruit trees.
wild flower - una flor silvestre
garden (cultivated) flower - una flor cultivada
rose - una rosa
chrysanthemum - un crisantemo
dandelion (yes, it's a weed, but it's still a flower) - un diente de leon
daisy - una margarita
orchid - una orquídea
carnation - un clavel
