Christian Interracial Dating Sites: Are They Needed?
Many articles have been written, and continue to be written on what is nowadays one of the most popular ways of finding romance--online dating. One of the questions often answered in articles is how to be successful with dating sites. Articles that offer a thorough answer tend to remind of the importance of joining a dating site suited to your needs and preferences. Sometimes following that advice reminds of the growing need for Christian interracial dating sites. But, are these sites really needed? Why can't the people who are open to interracial dating simply use the same web sites and services used by people who date only within their ethnic group?
The Atmosphere of a Web Site
Various factors influence the development of the prevailing mind sets of the members of many web sites, including those that are not niche sites. This is precisely why an article might be a huge success published on some sites and a failure on others. The majority of members on "general" dating sites are not open to interracial dating. This is usually not the best atmosphere for people who prefer to date outside of their own ethnic group or who simply are open to interracial dating. They often end up wasting time contacting people who would never be interested in them or they waste time receiving messages from people in which they are not interested. This is why it can be said that there is a need for Christian interracial dating sites.
Dating Sites for All Life Styles
A search on the Internet, at first glance, makes it appear that the need for Christian interracial dating sites has already been met. However, it has not. It is no secret that anyone and anything nowadays, at least in the West, can wear the label of "Christian." True, born-again, single followers of Jesus who are open to dating outside of their race are becoming more and more interested in Christian interracial dating sites.
They want to meet genuine Christians who not only worship and serve the Lord, but who also are completely open to dating and marrying someone of another ethnicity. The combination of these two things is very difficult to find even on the world wide web.

Truer words have never been spoken. There are a couple niche sites, but there should be more resources available to us than what there is. It's slim pickings. Christian Mingle (or any other dating site, for that matter) just isn't gonna cut it for those looking to branch out in the dating world. Our criteria is too targeted for these broad-range sites.

Perhaps visiting or joining a church whose congregation is racially diverse, or composed of the members of any of the ethnic groups you would consider, might open more opportunities for you. Although some Christians have met their husband or wife online and are enjoying a successful marriage, there is still much to be said in favor of the old-fashioned way of meeting--in person. Why? Because some people, simply out of habit, seek a mate within their own ethnic group. That does not automatically mean that they are not open to interracial dating and marriage. They have simply never really pondered the idea. And, once they get to know someone special who shares their zeal for the Lord, ethnicity simply does not matter.

I completely agree with Mr. Joekzalott that single true believers in Jesus who are open to interracial dating and marriage are in a class by ourselves. Online dating has been nothing but a frustrating, fruitless experience for me whether dealing with someone of my own ethnic group or of a different one. I've left it alone and resorted back to searching in person.
