Is It Evil, Mental Illness Or Low Self-Esteem?
What would cause a person to drive down a street at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m with that noise they refer to as music so loud it would wake the dead if that were possible? Well, I can think of at least a couple of reasons: That person is evil, mentally ill, or have very low self-esteem.
Most people who are evil got to be in that condition because they failed to listen to their own conscience (when they had one), and the ones with low self-esteem are miserable, and seek to cause others misery by waking them out of their sleep. They are on a cheap power trip. It's cheap because anybody who can drive can do the same. They have no real power. I only threw "mentally ill" in there, because our society labels everything outside of “normal behavior” as mental illness. These days, no one knows how to define normal behavior.
How did we get to such a state? Somehow, it seems everyone needs to be recognized for something as long as that something doesn't require they work for recognition. It could be they saw one monkey do it (drive boom cars), so that'll work for the next monkey 'cause he doesn't have to use his inferior brain. I understand that it would be an awful brain strain to actually read and comprehend a book every now and then. But with some effort it can be done.
In conclusion, I hope all of you who disturb others, whether it's some elderly person you woke and he can't get back to sleep, or some student studying for a test, and your stupid boom broke his concentration, know that your day is coming. The Bible puts it this way: You reap what you sow. The world says, "What goes around, comes around."
I can sit here with a smile on my face enjoying the thought that despite the fact that many of you don't believe you're gonna' get yours, I'm certain of it. You're going to remember the day you read and ignored this warning, only it'll be too late. You already made your bed.
