The Truth about the Healings and Miracles by the Virgin of Guadalupe
The Amazonian Indian, Luis Rueda, was called "el indio amazonico" and "el indio Luis Rueda". Because he said he served God and the Virgin of Guadalupe, let's take a closer look at the healings and miracles by the Virgin. This content is based on the film that "tells the story of miraculous passages, miraculous apparitions, healings and the aid the Virgin of Guadalupe and her elect, the Indian Luis Rueda, gave to many people.
The Miraculous Apparition that Inspired the Amazonian Indian
One day, while the Amazonian Indian was reading, a print or painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe magically appeared on the wall next to him. A feminine voice then said, "My son, I have come, because I confide in you. And I want you to take my message to humanity."
The Amazonian Indian responded with, "Dear Virgin of Guadalupe, ask of me what you will. I will be happy to do it."
The Virgin told him to open a temple that would bear his name, so that he would heal the sick and help needy people. The Amazonian Indian says he will do just that for the good of all his brethren who suffer, and desire a better life.
The film goes on to tell the stories of the miracles and healings by the Virgin of Guadalupe at the hand of the Amazonian Indian. The questions are: Was the Amazonian Indian a Christian believer? Is the power of the Virgin of Guadalupe the power of the God of the Bible? If not, how do we explain the supernatural miracles and healings? Well, the Bible has all the answers to these legitimate and extremely important questions.
In the name of Jesus and the Virgin of Guadalupe
The miracles and healings by the Virgin of Guadalupe were actually performed by the Amazonian Indian in the name of the Virgin and in the name of Jesus Christ. The Indian spoke of God as though he were Christian. But we know he was not Christian. We know that, judging by his fruits. Christ said, "You will know them by their fruit" (St. Matthew 7:20). What do the fruits of the Amazonian Indian tell us? Do they speak of God's power? Of Satan's power?
Just by glancing around at what was his office, we realize that the healings and miracles by the Virgin of Guadalupe are not the works of the God of Israel. Luis Rueda, the Indian, was not God's servant, but rather a medicine man (shaman). He practiced sorcery and witchcraft. He used a crystal ball, tarot cards, the signs of the zodiac, love potions, tea leaves, cards, talismans, magical formulas and the like.
God's Word vehemently condemns witchcraft, spiritualism and sorcery. We read, "There shall not be found among you any one that...useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
The paraphernalia the Amazonian Indian had was for practicing divination, sorcery, witchcraft and magic. It served him to work as a charmer. It's impossible to commit abominable sins before God, and at the same time, be used by Him. The Bible tells us just speaking evil of Jesus is enough to bar us from performing a miracle in His name. How then could we work miracles and heal in the name of Christ if we're involved in abominations? In light of the Deuteronomy passage and other passages of the New Testament such as Revelation 9:21 and 21:8, the answer is "we can't!" How then do we explain the miracles and healings by the Virgin of Guadalupe?
False Christs and False Prophets
In the Christian Bible, the apostle Paul and the Lord Himself clearly tell us that Satan has power to deceive through miracles and healings. We're also told false Christs and false prophets will rise up to deceive multitudes by working miracles, healings, great signs and wonders. Be very careful. These people will try to appear Christian, so they will pass their wicked works off as works by God.
Jesus warned us of this when He said, "There shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (St. Matthew 24:24).
We should not think it strange that these people call on the name of Jesus Christ...that they work iniquity in the name of a false Jesus. In this very thing lies the great deception.
"And no marvel; for Satan is himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
The miracles and healings by the Virgin of Guadalupe are actually satanic works performed in the name of a false Jesus Christ, by the hand of a false prophet who was called the Amazonian Indian. We don't say these things to talk badly about him, but to show, through Scripture, that he was not being used by the God of the Bible. It is our sincere hope that he repented and converted to the Lord before he died. We desire the same for his followers. The Lord is merciful to forgive all our sins. He's also all-knowing. Therefore, He knows when we're truly ignorant of the truth. And He knows when we reject it, which will lead us into being so deceived that we'll think we're serving God when we're doing evil. Take note of the very unpleasant surprise that awaits those who work miracles and healings in the name of a false Christ. The surprise awaits them when they come before the true Son of God in the hereafter.
"Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? Then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity (wickedness)" (St. Matthew 7:22-23).
Performing miracles, healings and prophesying in the name of a false Jesus disguised as the Son of God is to be a worker of iniquity. When Jesus says He doesn't know you, He means you are not saved. He means you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. He means you do not have a relationship with Him. He means you have not allowed Him to save you. He means you have not allowed Him to redeem you. He means you are not His servant. That is not a good thing!
Based on true events, The Third Man by Angela Sheffield, brings the Bible up close and personal as the characters face real issues of life: Betrayal, deceit, romance, bitterness, anger against God, hopelessness, will power, perplexity, triumph, unforgiveness, mental illness, and the "Alcohol made me do it" excuse.
